We choose our partners carefully; we only do business with lodges that are eco-friendly and that adhere to our own ethical standards regarding labor conditions, workers' compensation and animal rights.
IQUITOS TRAVEL has operated in the Iquitos region for over eight years. We have learned a lot in that time. We have also set our standards high when it comes to ethical business, workers' rights and animal well-being.
We will not do business with any partner that does not respect our standards. Not only will we not take you to illegal places where animals are exploited and abused; we also don't do business with anyone who does take their guests there.
We also steer clear from lodges and other places of business in the area that are mere fronts for drug money laundering operations. While they are able to offer their tourism services below cost - thus running legimite businesses out of business - we prefer not to take you to places like that. At IQUITOS TRAVEL we run a completely legitimite business and maintain a high standard of ethics. We trust that you will appreciate that.

Just ask us for details and rates. Jungle lodging starts at prices as low as 21 dollars a night, which includes breakfast. Many lodges also offer complete multi-day packages with jungle expeditions, hiking, fishing and canoe trips, visits to native communities and even a canopy walk.
